Phu Kradung National Park
Phu Kradung National Park is Thailand's second largest National Park and comprises 60 square kilometres [ 23 square miles ]. It has an elevation of 1,325 metres [ 4, 347 feet ]. It is situated on a massive flat topped mountain and is a centre for plants that prefer a cooler climate.
On the plateau are 50 kilometers of hiking trails which are especially marked out for hikers meandering around the plateau to cliffs with stunning views, waterfalls and sparse meadows of flowering plants. Phu Kradung is home to native violets, slipper orchids, ground and tree dwelling orchids.
